Welcome to Dahlia Dogs Flower Farm. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the purchase of products through www.dahliadogs.com

By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.


1. Products and Availability

We specialize in selling dahlia tubers and products related to flower gardening. Product availability is seasonal and may change without notice. All descriptions and images are provided to the best of our ability, but actual plants may vary in size, colour, and bloom shape due to natural variation and growing conditions.

We reserve the right to discontinue products or adjust pricing at any time.


2. Ordering and Payment

Orders are processed via our website and must be paid in full at checkout. We accept payment in Canadian dollars (CAD) via [Visa, MasterCard, Interac, PayPal, etc.].

It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete billing and shipping information. Incorrect information may result in order delays or non-delivery, for which we are not responsible.


3. Shipping and Delivery

We ship across Canada during the appropriate planting season for dahlias. Orders are shipped via Canada Post, and delivery times vary depending on your location.

Customers in remote areas may experience longer shipping times. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and include applicable sales tax.

We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by the carrier, weather, or incorrect shipping details provided by the customer.


4. Refunds, Replacements & Cancellations

Please refer to our Refund Policy for details on eligibility and timelines.


Viability Guarantee: We guarantee that our tubers are healthy and viable upon delivery. If you receive damaged or non-viable tubers, contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos.
 

Cancellations: Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase if not yet shipped.
 

No Refunds for Growing Conditions: We do not offer refunds or replacements for issues related to care, weather, or growing failure after planting.
 

5. Sales Tax

As a business operating in British Columbia, we collect applicable provincial and federal taxes (GST and PST or HST, depending on your location within Canada). These will be calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.


6. Intellectual Property

All website content—including images, text, logos, and product descriptions—is the property of Dahlia Dogs Flower Farm and is protected under Canadian intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.


7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Dahlia Dogs Flower Farm is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the products or this website.

This includes (but is not limited to) plant failure, garden damage, allergic reactions, or missed planting seasons.


8. Privacy

We comply with the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.


9. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of our website shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in British Columbia, Canada.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted to this page, and your continued use of the website signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Return and Refund Policy

 

Thank you for shopping with us at Dahlia Dogs Flower Farm! We take great care in providing healthy, high-quality dahlia tubers and plants. Please read our refund policy carefully before placing your order.


1. Viable Tuber Guarantee

We guarantee that our dahlia tubers are viable and true to type at the time of shipping, provided shipping is in Spring.  We do not guarantee viability for buyers who select the risk of Fall or Winter shipping (when offered). Each order is hand-packed and inspected to ensure quality.  This means, we inspect the tuber for a healthy body, strong neck, a good piece of crown and an obvious eye or sprout. 


If your tubers arrive damaged, rotted, or otherwise non-viable, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. Photos of the damaged or unsatisfactory product are required for us to process a refund or replacement.  Please note, a replacement is not always possible due to inventory selling out.


2. Incorrect Items

If you receive the wrong variety or item, please notify us within 7 days of delivery, with a photograph of what you believe to be the incorrect item. We will issue a replacement or refund depending on availability.


3. No Refunds for Growing Issues

Because we cannot control the growing conditions after planting (such as soil quality, weather, pests, or care practices), we do not offer refunds or replacements for plants that fail to grow once planted.


4. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled for a full refund within 48 hours of purchase, provided they have not yet been shipped. After 48 hours, cancellation requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 


5. Shipping Delays or Issues

We are not responsible for shipping delays due to weather, postal service disruptions, or incorrect addresses provided by the customer. Please double-check your shipping information before submitting your order.


6. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.
